Cilha Lourenço Módia (A Coruña, 1974) has a degree in Galician-Portuguese Philology from the University of Santiago de Compostela and a PhD in Galician and Portuguese Philology from the University of A Coruña. Her research interests focus, on the one hand, on Galician theater studies, a discipline to which she contributed with her doctoral thesis O Teatro Circo na configuración do Teatro Independente Galego (1967-1978), published in 2013 by Laiovento, but also with various scientific articles, chapters and communications. On the other hand, Lourenço stands out for her works on Galician grammar, focused on the elaboration and analysis of didactic materials, such as Gramática práctica da lingua galega, published together with Xoán López Viñas and Marisa Moreda Leirado (Baía Edicións, 2011 2nd ed.), or the textbooks for the four ESO levels in Galician Language and Literature, in collaboration with Xoán López Viñas and María Vilariño Suárez (Baía Edicións, 2015 and 2016). She currently works as a Contracted PhD Lecturer at the University of A Coruña.
