Alexandre Peres Vigo graduated in Humanities at the University of A Coruña. He completed the Masters in Teaching during the academic year 2011-2012 in the same university, with a final project on O idioma galego na Idade Media.

In addition to having participated in publications in various fields of Galician culture, his current area of ​​research focuses on the study of galaicophobia and the anti-Galician stereotype, namely the literary and paremiological expression of this phenomenon. In this line of study he developed his doctoral thesis, directed by prof. Manuel Ferreiro, Xénese e consolidación do estereotipo antigalego na literatura española da Idade Moderna, in the Official Doctorate Program in Linguistic Studies of UDC.
