This new anthology of the poetry of Luís de Camões draws on the differing but complementary perspectives of its three editors (Manuel Ferreiro, Carlos Paulo Martínez Pereiro and Francisco Salinas Portugal) and their shared fascination with the poet’s work.

The selected poems are intended to be representative rather than exhaustive, guiding readers on a journey through different aspects of Camões’s life and work, and inviting us to find our own meaning in the text.
