The third volume in the Gramática da Lingua Galega series offers readers a long needed general survey of the lexicon and semantics of the Galician language. Freixeiro Mato’s analysis examines the lexical structures of Galician from a synchronic point of view, using a structural-functional methodology inspired, in particular, in the theories of E. Coseriu and M. Vilela.
