Literatura Galego-Portuguesa Medieval takes readers on a journey back in time to the origins of Galician literature. The book is aimed mainly at students, but is also an ideal resource for anybody wishing to learn more about the richly varied and imaginative universe of medieval literature.

The anthology is intended as a tool for teachers to help their students to look for literature in the text itself; to understand that literature is about reading, writing, interpretation and enjoyment, not just textbooks and lecture notes.
