Sobre o racismo lingüístico is a collection of essays, featuring reflection by six academics and one judge on the normalisation of social and public uses of Galician. The authors featured are: Celia María Armas García, Manuel Ferreiro, Xosé Ramón Freixeiro Mato, María Pilar García Negro, Francisco Rodríguez, Xosé Manuel Sánchez Rei, Goretti Sanmartín Rei and Luís Villares Naveira.

Despite the different starting points, styles and perspectives adopted by each of the authors, their objective is the same: to ensure the continued growth and expansion of the Galician language, and the creation of new spaces within it to accommodate more Galicians and types of Galicianness. The unity of purpose displayed by the authors also extends to their hopes for the future of the Galician language, and their shared commitment to work to make it a better one.
